Somatic Therapy for Queer Folks, Survivors, and Tender Rebels of the Heart
In Tulsa, Oklahoma and via Telehealth
About Me
LPC-C • Tulsa In Person & Telehealth
I'm Natalie (they/them, she/her), a somatic therapist trained in Somatic Experiencing and influenced by Internal Family Systems. I offer in-person sessions at our Tulsa office and telehealth sessions for clients anywhere in Oklahoma. I work with those healing from complex and religious trauma, neurodivergent folks, and I welcome current and former sex workers into my practice. I specialize in LGBTQ+ affirming care, particularly with transgender and gender non-conforming clients, and I support people exploring polyamory, alternative relationships, as well as psychedelic integration. I also work with people navigating estrangement from family of origin and the grief, relief, and complexity that can come with it

Somatic Therapy
My work is rooted in Somatic Experiencing, a body-based approach to trauma developed by Dr. Peter Levine. SE invites us to slow down and listen to the body's language, working with sensation and nervous system awareness to support healing from the inside out.
I am also influenced by Internal Family Systems, weaving parts work into our sessions to help you develop curiosity and compassion for all aspects of yourself.
I love working with artists and creatives. Bring your paintings, songs, poems, or whatever you are making. Creative work is welcome in the therapy room and can be a powerful tool for transformation.
I see clients in person and via telehealth at Drue Day Counseling in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For fees and scheduling, visit Druedaycounseling.com.
My Values
I believe therapy works best when you know who your therapist is. I am white, transgender and non-binary, and queer.
I am committed to anti-oppressive, feminist, and queer liberatory frameworks. I work to stay aware of the power dynamic inherent in the therapist role and do what I can to create a space where your own wisdom leads. I value transparency, clear communication, and a therapy relationship that feels honest and collaborative. I believe healing is not just personal; it is communal. When we engage in this healing work, we are not only healing for ourselves, but for our communities and our world.
Outside the Therapy Room
I am a musician, photographer, and artist living in Tulsa. I love classic films, poetry, documentary storytelling, and the endlessly fascinating world of fungi. I'm a parent. My partner and I have led workshops on non-monogamy and alternative relationships in New York, California, Texas, and Oklahoma.
